There was the usual dim grey light of the forest-day about him when he came to his senses. The spider lay dead beside him, and his sword-blade was stained black. Somehow the killing of the giant spider, all alone by himself in the dark without the help of the wizard or the dwarves or of anyone else, made a great difference to Mr. Baggins. He felt a different person, and much fiercer and bolder in spite of an empty stomach, as he wiped his sword on the grass and put it back into its sheath.
“I will give you a name,” he said to it, “and I shall call you Sting.”

Games That Need To Be Made

1. SupernaturalAfter the disappearance of their father, two brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester must take to the road on a path of blood and guns. To find their father they must risk their lives hunting the very demon who killed their mother, while taking down as many “evil son’s of a bitches as possible.” Following season one and two of the series.
Gameplay:
From the start of the game you are given the choice between Dean and Sam; although they most often share the same adventures, their paths deviate on the line between good and evil. Choosing Dean entitles the player to the Chevy Impala 1967, a wider range of weaponry, and the ability to level up guns. If you choose Sam though, you have the ability to enhance the powers he was cursed with, which include precognition, sensing spirits early on, and immunity to certain demons. Sam also is able to use hacking, lock picking, and incantations to his advantage which offer a more strategy based gameplay to Dean’s.Having a sandbox game offers the player to follow the linear storyline while also taking up jobs from fellow hunters. It also enables the player to do their own investigations following the trail of demons over towns and cities, such as taking on the shape-shifter while he reeks havoc under the disguise of Dean. This variety also enables the player to find relics and weaponry they wouldn’t find through the main storyline plus additional information on how to kill or wound specific monsters.

An Interview with a Freelance Writer - Reality behind Metal Gear Solid 2

This is the story of Agness Kaku, the then-24-year-old who localized Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. She recounts the harsh conditions Konami forced on her to localize it and how she overcame all of these obstacles to deliver the entire script of the most controversial Metal Gear Solid game to date (and my personal favorite of the series).
I highly recommend you read it, as it sheds more light on Konami as a company and details a lot of obstacles that aren’t necessarily uncommon in the gaming industry.

Users of Tumblr! Of the whole Internet! My brothers. I see in your blogs the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of the Users fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Internet comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand!

Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. The first part is called “The Pledge”. The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course… it probably isn’t. The second act is called “The Turn”. The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you’re looking for the secret… but you won’t find it, because of course you’re not really looking. You don’t really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn’t clap yet. Because making something disappear isn’t enough; you have to bring it back. That’s why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call “The Prestige.”
